91. Power to make regulations (1) The Minister may make regulations for or with respect to- (a) the duties and functions of the Registrar, Assistant Registrars and other employees appointed to assist with the administration of this Act; (b) the fees to be paid to the Registrar in respect of any obligation under this Act; (c) the manner in which the Registrar may deal with the property vested in him under section 54; and (d) all matters and things required or authorized by this Act to be prescribed or provided, for the carrying out of, or giving full effect to, the provisions of this Act. (2) Any subsidiary legislation made under this Act may provide for any act or omission in contravention of the subsidiary legislation to be an offence and may provide for penalties of a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both. |
